We are looking for a highly motivated Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our infrastructure team based in Rome to design and develop road projects.
Responsibility
- Design and development of road projects, including new routes ,extensions and improvements to existing infrastructure (bridges, viaducts, underpasses, road superstructures, sidewalks and other related infrastructure).
- Conducting structural analysis to assess the load-bearing capacity of existing structures and determine the need for maintenance work or new construction and feasibility study analysis and collaboration on environmental impact assessments.
- Monitoring the performance of existing infrastructure and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaboration with the design team and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Processing technical documentation , including reports , project reports and technical drawings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Previous work experience as a structural or design road engineer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of road pogation regulations and practices.
- Proficiency in using road design software (AutoCAD, Civil3D) or proficiency in using road structural analysis software (AutoCAD , SAP2000, MIDAS Civil).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail ,ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges and find innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of the Italian language and good communication skills in English.
